NEW BEDFORD, Mass. — Cellphone video shows what appears to be federal agents smashing a car window during an arrest in New Bedford on Monday. Immigration Attorney Ondine Galvez Sniffin said in an interview with affiliate WPRI, her clients — 29-year-old Juan Francisco Mendez and his wife — were pulled over, and that they told the federal agents they were waiting for their attorney to arrive. Video shows Mendez and his wife speaking to the agents in Spanish.

BOSTON — Authorities are asking for the public’s help locating two suspects who allegedly vandalized a Tesla vehicle months ago. Boston Police say they received a report on Thursday from a party who said his Tesla Cybertruck was vandalized on February 27 around 5:12 p.m. at 1799 Commonwealth Avenue in BrightonAccording to a police report, the victim went to get his Cybertruck washed when he noticed the trunk was scratched and a phallic symbol was carved into the driver side door.

In a declaration filed on Thursday, Tufts student Rumeysa Ozturk detailed the day she was detained by ICE officers and says she suffered multiple asthma attacks while in their custody. The 30-year-old Ph.D student was taken by immigration authorities on March 25 while walking in Somerville. Less than 24 hours later, she was whisked away to an immigration detention facility in Basile, Louisiana after making several stops around New England.
