Voters in Glenbard High School District 87 have approved a $183 million borrowing plan by a 404-vote margin, according to the final tally released by DuPage County election officials. The county clerk’s office has officially certified that the district’s ballot measure received 12,491 “yes” votes, or 50.82% of the total, compared to 12,087 against.

She is the daughter of Andrea Camper and Mike Allen, and she has three siblings: Nick, Lexi and Elaina. What class do you find really engaging and why?: My WACC class, Allied Health, is the class that I find most engaging. I am learning about topics that will help me with my future. I also have been shadowing health care jobs at CGH, which gives me a good view for my future.

Dear Amy: I have two friends I’ve been extremely close to over the past 10-15 years. These two friends don’t know each other, but they each have been an important part of my life – but are not my only close friends. Based on comments made over the years, I’ve suspected that these two people were racists, but only recently have they overtly – almost proudly – declared it, and now I can no longer step over something I’ve tried to ignore.
