Eighth grader Addison Tramble retired 12 batters in succession, striking out nine in that stretch and 11 all together as Livingston Central blanked Crittenden County 10-0 in 5 innings on Wednesday in the 2nd Region All A Softball tournament. Tramble gave up one hit in the first inning and, after a walk, set the Lady Rockets down in succession. She also hit two triples in the game, while Hadley Hargrove had a three-run home run. The Lady Cardinals scored all 10 runs in the first three innings.

A structure fire Tuesday afternoon damages a Paducah automobile dealership. The Paducah Fire Department was called to Royal Oaks Chevrolet on Park Avenue. Chief Steve Collins told West Kentucky Star the signage at the front of the building was on fire when they arrived. The cause of the fire is currently not known.

Multiple outlets are reporting Murray State University is set to hire Creighton assistant Ryan Miller as it's new men's basketball coach. Miller would replace Steve Prohm, who parted ways with the school after last week's loss to Bradley in the Missouri Valley Conference tournament. Prohm had completed his third season in his second stint as Racers coach.

911 landline fees are now a thing of the past in Paducah and McCracken County. Paducah's Board of Commissioners Tuesday night amended the city's code of ordiances to abolish the fees. Last year, the city authorized an interlocal agreement between they and McCracken COunty for the provision for emergency 911 services and created the 911 parcel fee. As part of the agreement, both the city and county agreed to abolish all landline fees.
