According to meteorologist Tom Atkins, there’s not a lot of precipitation at the moment on the radar, but colder air and gusty winds will cause snow showers later Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. The focus of most accumulations, which could be between one and three inches, will be east of Erie from eastern Erie County into New York State, as well as the northern tier of Warren and McKean Counties. Much less snow is predicted elsewhere.

Fog has been thickest in Erie County and other counties that border Lake Erie. The first of Downtown Erie shows how limited the visibility is there as the camera is only 2 blocks away from St Peter Cathedral. We couldn’t even show you a hot from our tower’s camera here in Summit at the JET/FOX studios because the visibility is close to zero and that includes portions of I-90. As you get farther south, the fog is not as thick.
