UTICA, NY -- The inaugural Miles for Miracles, a 5k run and 1 mile walk to benefit the Rescue Mission of Utica, took place in FT. Proctor Park on Saturday. Despite the rainy weather, participants made their way through the park, along a very scenic route, giving them a chance to enjoy the outdoors while making a tangible impact in the community.

DEANSBORO, NY -- The Annual Daniel Barden Mudfest celebrated its 11th year of mud, mayhem, and merriment at MKJ Farms in Deansboro Saturday. Officially dubbed "The Boilermaker's Dirty Little Brother" Mudfest is a rough-and-tumble mud run obstacle course that offers something for everyone. There are timed and untimed 5k runs as well as a kids fun run for ages 5 to 11 so the whole family can get involved.

NEW HARTFORD, NY -- Hundreds of people gathered in New Hartford Saturday morning for the 4th Annual Grateful for Graham 5k Run & Walk. The event took place along the Rayhill Memorial Trail located near the BOCES on Middle Settlement Road. Participants included a wide variety of runners and walkers. They were there to support Graham Robertello, a 5-year-old boy that was born with a rare genetic disorder called epidermolysis bullosa or EB.

UTICA, N.Y. -- It has been five years since the former Children's Museum shut down at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. On Tuesday, the ribbon was officially cut for the grand opening of the Utica Children's Museum new location on the corner of Holland Avenue and the Utica Memorial Parkway. The wait is finally over. The Utica Children’s Museum is set to welcome visitors on Thursday, May 1.
