President Donald Trump is trying a new tactic in his effort to deport undocumented immigrants. Paying them to leave. The Department of Homeland Security announced on Monday that the administration would give undocumented immigrants a $1,000 stipend plus pay travel expenses if they agree to “self-deport” through the CBP (Customs and Border Protection) app.
