The head of the Tarheel Swimming Association (TSA) said they estimate there are only 5 to 10 transgender swimmers out of 13,000 on their almost 90 teams around the Triangle.

    CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WTVD) -- UNC confirmed that the visas of 6 international students were terminated by the U.S. State Department. Student leaders at UNC were already on edge after both Duke and NC State announced they had students who had their visas revoked. The termination of their students visas means they could now face future deportation. "I saw it happening in the Triangle and sooner and later we knew they were coming to UNC," says Adolfo Alvarez, UNC's student body president.

    RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- The crowd at Dreamville 2025, the fifth and final event, gathered around the two main stages for a weekend-long musical celebration. For local vendors, they not only get a chance to enjoy the music while working, but Dreamville is also a big weekend for business. "You can see the line is really long, it's nice," said Shanaste with Jolly Catering. As people cooled down from the heat with lemonades, some also stopped to buy festival merchandise.

(WTVD) -- As people from all over the country and the world gather in Raleigh ahead of the Dreamville music festival at Dix Park this weekend, the festival kicked off with a pop-up store downtown on Davie Street. Tiffany Cox was among the first in line to score some Dreamville merchandise. This is her second time attending the festival. "It was just fire, and I had to go back," she said.
