LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Three-sport athletes used to be a thing. Now it is very rare these days on the high school level with specialization and sports being played year round. Lauren Campisano is showing that it can still be done and at a very high level. She started out playing softball and basketball at Assumption High School. Field Hockey was added in her junior and senior years.

CHARLESTOWN, Ind. (WDRB) -- Lanesville girls basketball has known great success in recent years. This year is no exception with a 7th consecutive sectional title earned last week. But things are a little different this year. Head coach Angie Hinton has won 88 percent of her games in 7 seasons at Lanesville, 94 percent in the last four. That includes back-to-back state 1A titles the last two seasons, success that by Indiana High School rules, automatically bumped them up to class 2A this season.

FLOYDS KNOBS, Ind. (WDRB) -- The Floyd Central High School girls basketball program is reaching heights it hasn't seen in over a decade. First-year head coach Jerry Hickey knew he had some pieces to work with when he took over. But it may have been hard to imagine a 21-4 record coming off losing seasons in six of the last seven. "If you would have told me that we'd be 20-5 — or whatever our record is now — I would have actually laughed in your face," junior Elise Coleman said.
