Fire trucks from around the area screamed into Bristol Borough Wednesday morning for a reported blaze. Firefighters responded to a fire in the basement of a duplex in the 1000 block of Radcliffe Street in Bristol Borough shortly after 11:15 a.m. Wednesday. The residence is located next to St. Mark Catholic School. Crews arriving at the three-story home found smoke filling the duplex, with heavy smoke emanating from the basement of one of the units, according to Fire Chief Herb Slack.
