Evansville police reported that a teenager is now facing gun charges after reviewing video footage related to the incident. The teenager was taken into custody on Tuesday after being seen in possession of a gun, police said. As we previously reported The investigation remains active, according to police.

    VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) - A traffic stop on Interstate 64 led to the discovery of a significant amount of cocaine. According to the sheriff's office, a deputy stopped Shayla Bailey and a passenger just after 4 p.m. on Tuesday. With the assistance of a K9 unit, deputies discovered a pair of packages containing more than 5 pounds of cocaine. Bailey was taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail.

    Vanderburgh County, Ind. (WEVV) — Portions of Burdette Park are expected to reopen today after weekend flooding closed the venue Monday.  Park officials say they needed to remove mud and debris that flowed into the pool area. We're told the main pool, spray park, and back water slide will open by 10:00 a.m. today. However, the kid's pool will remain closed as crews continue cleaning that area of the expansive pool.

    EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — We are waiting to learn the identity of a driver involved in a fatal two-vehicle accident Monday afternoon. According to Evansville Police, officers were called to the intersection of Washington Avenue and Boeke Road just before 3:30 p.m.One of the drivers involved was transported to a nearby hospital with what was considered to be non-life threatening injuries, but later died. The name of the driver killed has not yet been released by the Vanderburgh County Coroner.

    EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — The Tri-State Food Bank's "Food on the Move" program will end next week in Gallatin County, Illinois. According to organizers, the mobile pantry's monthly stop is ending due to a lack of funding. The final "Food on the Move" event will take place on June 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at the New Haven Community Building in Gallatin County.
