Eric Arthur Wittlief, 22, has been charged with criminal vehicular homicide in the head-on crash that happened on Aug. 5, 2021 on Highway 14 in southern Minnesota. Police said Wittlief's pickup truck crossed the center line and crashed into a sedan, ultimately causing the death of 58-year-old Christ Brown, of Stockton, Minnesota.

Ecolab will place a 5% trade surcharge on all its services in the United States to offset tariff costs. The St. Paul-based water, hygiene and infection-prevention product company said the surcharge is intended to "mitigate the impact of rising raw material costs due to recent changes in international trade policies."The adjustment to its operations mitigates the 10% tariffs President Donald Trump is placing on products from multiple countries. A 27-year-old man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for a fatal shooting that happened at a St. Cloud party in 2023. Deionte Jaewon Parker was previously found guilty by a Stearns County jury of aiding and abetting 2nd-degree intentional murder and illegal possession of a firearm in the Oct. 22, 2023 fatal shooting. He was sentenced on Tuesday. Antonio Harris Jr., 34, died at the party, which took place on the 700 block of 6th Avenue South. Two others were also wounded in the incident.
