Kenneth Ober was a successful Los Angeles-based artist who was exhibiting and selling art around the country when the pandemic began. When his career and the economy came crashing down in 2020, he was able to pivot and follow through on an idea that had begun a few years earlier: a move to Arizona.

Student Alejandro Ceballos, and social workers Araceli Olivas and Annette Urbina, are big fans of the Badger Closet at Tucson High Magnet School. The Badger Closet at Tucson High Magnet School is a place where students can find an array of items from shoes, shirts and hygiene items, to caps and gowns for graduation. Since its humble beginnings in a closet - literally - the program has expanded. Now it's housed in a former theater lobby in the high school's campus northeast of downtown Tucson.
