According to officials, one of Chevron's well locations near Galeton suffered a surface equipment failure that resulted in the release of water and some oil and gas. The well was emitting until 3:30 p.m. Thursday. Air quality monitoring has been ongoing, and the results have been below levels of concern for public health.

    A new traffic law in Aurora helped police get a significant amount of deadly drugs off the street in the Colorado city. Officer Mary Fernandez was on patrol when she noticed a car that appeared to be moving unusually slowly. She ran the vehicle's license plate and quickly discovered that it didn't match the car it was registered to. What she discovered was far beyond what she could have anticipated. She pulled the silver Hyundai over near Iliff Avenue and Abilene Street.

    Police in Colorado are investigating after an Aurora synagogue was vandalized Sunday night. Rabbi David Araiev began leading the Ohr Avner Community Center in 2014. Today, it is Aurora's only official synagogue and serves 200 families. They've had their share of threats over the years, but this week, Araiev says hate came knocking in the form of several rocks. "I saw the broken window, the door was broken, and I couldn't believe that this had happened," Araiev said.

    Six motorcycles were stolen from a locked storage container in Colorado overnight. The bikes belong to an Aurora small business focused on teaching motorcycle road safety and the owner is pleading for their return. Jim Wilson, the owner of Ride On Motorcycle Training, visited his storage containers outside Rangeview High School to prepare for weekend classes. When he arrived Friday, he noticed that the door to the storage container was cracked open.
