Fort Hall Fire EMS confirmed containment at 8:07 P.M.The fire is believed to have originated in a burn pit, which then spread to a pile of tires, igniting a mobile home.

Southbound I-15 is closed from Exit 116 at Sunnyside Rd. to Exit 113 at 66th S. Law enforcement urges all drivers to drive with caution and to avoid the area.

Harrison in reference to a reported physical disturbance involving two male subjects and a female. It was reported that one of the male subjects was intoxicated and in possession of a knife. Officers arrived on scene at 5:25 PM. During the encounter, officers were involved in a shooting with the male subject who was armed with a knife.

The fire happened near West Kaigan Rd. near Highway 91. Highway 91 north of Chubbuck was shut down because of the fire. No injuries were reported. The cause is yet to be determined, and the cost of damages has not been released. Only one house was consumed by the fire.

At approximately 10:30 p.m. on February 28, ISP troopers were traveling northbound on I-15 near milepost 85 when they observed a white 2008 Toyota Camry stopped on the outside shoulder with its hazard lights activated.
