After more than 13 years of service, AERU is saying goodbye to their 2011 Ford F-450, and celebrating the start of service for their brand-new Ford F-550 ambulance. "For some of our members, it was the very first ambulance they worked in, making today a meaningful mix of nostalgia and pride," reads a statement from Aurora Emergency Rescue Unit.

The accident was reported around 6:44 a.m. on Green Boulevard behind the CVS near Manchester Landing. Injuries were reported, but the number of people and extent of the injuries is unknown at this time. Eagle Country 99.3 will update this story when more information is provided.
