PHOENIX — Right now, a lot of people in the roofing industry are being seen in a negative light, and home insurance companies are starting to not cover roofs that are older than 15 to 20 years, forcing homeowners to replace them. Millions of Americans have been seeing this happen as their homeowner’s insurance premiums go up and their coverage shrinks. Thankfully, one Tempe homeowner who ended up in a bind found a way to save without spending tens of thousands of dollars.

GLENDALE, Ariz. — Loved ones of a 13-year-old who died following a hit and run crash in Glendale last year came together Saturday morning to honor his memory. They want to make sure the young boy is never forgotten. “Everyone deserves to be able to ride in peace and not fear for their life,” said Victoria Bizzle, Elias’ mom. “We’re riding for Eli and we’re still fighting for justice for Eli as well,” said Elbert Bizzle, Elias’ dad.

PHOENIX — It’s one of the most exciting STEM celebrations in Arizona: the annual 2025 SciTech Festival. “I think it’s just so important to get her involved in STEM, because she loves how the world works, she loves seeing how it all comes together… and STEM is a critical part of that,” Leeanne Denny, who brought her 14 month old daughter Elizabeth to the festival, said. The family-friendly event is hosted by SciTech Institute, Arizona Science Center, and Cox Communications.
