PERU — Jurors in the trial of a Kokomo man charged with molesting two girls heard the testimony of one of the alleged victims Wednesday in Miami Circuit Court. The city of Kokomo is allocating its fiscal year 2025 Community Development Block Grant funds to various local nonprofits and infrastructure projects. The city is estimating it will receive $732,040 in CDBG funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Development, the same it received last year. CDBG money largely funds infrastructure and housing projects that benefit low- to middle-income earners.
