People who are cleaning up from recent severe weather are concerned about a chance of storms Wednesday evening. Matt Boland, owner of Boland's Best One Tire in Three Rivers, had his windows busted out Sunday by strong winds. He's still cleaning up from the storm. Boland told News Channel 3 he's fortunate that he wasn't forced to close his business after the storm. A Kalamazoo Township officer who was shot Thursday morning outside the Kalamazoo Public Schools Administration building is still hospitalized in stable condition and is expected to recover. The officer has been with the department for 15 months; this was the first time an officer in the department has had to fire their gun since 1999, according to Chief Bryan Ergang. "The officer appears to be in good spirits," Ergang said. "He's surrounded by family. They've been able to see him and talk to him.

Police said a 31-year-old woman from Mattawan was arrested for "suspected substance use."Sallena Pritchard works near where the crash happened and told News Channel 3 that she's seen the children before while they were in the buggy.
