The unusual spread near the turn-off of the main sequence (MS) in the colour–magnitude diagram of the Galactic open clusters has drawn the attention of astronomers recently (Marino et al. 2018b). This spread in the upper MS is called extended main-sequence turn-off i.e. eMSTO. Though recent in detection, the eMSTOs are now commonly found in the Galactic open clusters (Cordoni et al. 2018; Siegel et al. 2019; Maurya et al. 2021).

The possibility of an autoparametric resonance in an isolated many-particle system induces a specific behavior of the particles in the presence of thermal noise. In particular, the variance associated with a resonant mode, and consequently that of the associated particles, is strongly increased compared to what it would have in the absence of parametric resonance.

AbstractThe etiology of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is unclear but involves both genetics and environmental factors, including the gut microbiota. Indeed, exacerbated activation of the gastrointestinal immune system toward the gut microbiota occurs in genetically susceptible hosts and under the influence of the environment. For instance, a majority of IBD susceptibility loci lie within genes involved in immune responses, such as caspase recruitment domain member 9 (Card9).

Closely related to behavior and cognitive performance [37], functional connectivity reflects the relationships between the activation time series measured from different brain regions [18]. These associations are commonly assessed using methods that assume that brain areas become activated at the same time [17].
