Most of the time, watching someone else play a video game is about as exciting as watching paint dry. That is not the case at a Bit Brigade show. Bit Brigade is a band that could only have come from Athens, Georgia. In the show coming to Greenville’s Radio Room April 25, a quartet of musicians will play the classic soundtracks from the beloved games Super Mario World and F-Zero live while Noah McCarthy, controller in hand, races his way through the game levels.

Zakk Wylde, master of the electric guitar, bandleader and general rock ’n’ roll warrior, is a very busy man. Right now, the lead guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne is out on the road with a show called The Zakk Sabbath Crusade, his tribute to Ozzy’s first band, Black Sabbath. Oh, he’s also the leader of his own heavy metal band, Black Label Society, and he still serves as Ozzy’s guitarist, which means he’ll be at Osbourne’s farewell show in July.
