Newquay Coastguard Search and Rescue Team scoured the area ( )EMERGENCY services were alerted following concerns for the welfare of a man at the Barrowfields on Friday morning (April 11). Police, RNLI lifeguards and Newquay Coastguard Search and Rescue Team carried out searches in the area at 11am. The man was located safely shortly after 12pm. The collision occurred on the A30 westbound at Mitchell (Devon & Cornwall Police)A MOTORCYCLIST received serious injuries after being involved in a collision with a van on the A30 at Mitchell on Thursday night (April 10). Emergency services were called to a report of a collision involving a Honda motorcycle and a white Ford Transit Connect at around 7.10pm. A local man in his sixties, who was the rider of the motorcycle, was injured in the collision.
