Residents are living with the rats in their attics ( )RESIDENTS’ lives are being made a misery as their properties in Newquay are being infested with rats. Tenants living in Sanctuary Housing properties in Berry Road say the vermin have been living in their attics and wall cavities for more than two years. People living in the housing complex, which includes a terrace of three houses and two blocks of flats, have complained to the housing association repeatedly, but the problem still persists.

The modernisation of the facility in St Thomas Road will create additional space to boost productivity and improve patient care. GWR train passing under Nansledan bridge ( )A new road to improve transport links and unlock economic growth in Newquay has opened with Network Rail’s new bridge over the railway now in use. The Newquay Strategic Route, built by the Duchy of Cornwall and Cornwall Council, provides a new link between the south and east of the town and crosses the Newquay branch line via Network Rail’s bridge. The 25m-long single-arch bridge was built with 16 pre-cast concrete units, each weighing 28.6 tonnes.
