    GANADO, Ariz. — Sage Memorial Hospital (SMH) is pleased to announce the schedule for the 2024 Mass Flu and COVID Vaccine Event. This three-day event will be held at the SMH Wellness Center on October 17, 18, and 19. The first two days will focus on flu vaccinations for students, while the third day will be open to the community, offering both flu vaccines and COVID vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

    WINDOW ROCK, Ariz. – On Thursday, the Naabik'íyáti’ Committee received an update report from the Division of Community Development (DCD) and Navajo Engineering and Construction Authority (NECA) on the status of bathroom addition projects funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Council Delegates questioned project spending in contrast to the U.S. Treasury’s deadline of December 2026 for expending ARPA dollars and completing ARPA funded projects.

    WILLIAMS, Ariz. - Residents of Williams and Park are breathing a collective sigh of relief after learning that Drake Cement, LLC is suspending its application to explore for pozzolan on Bill Williams Mountain and at Spring Valley. The Arizona-based cement manufacturer announced its decision in a Sept. 14 letter to U.S. Forest Service officials.
