WEST FARGO — A few weeks ago, West Fargo Library Director Jenna Kahly was approached by a West Fargo man in his 70s. The man had never used a computer, and he needed to look for a job online. Kahly helped the man navigate the Internet on the library's public computers, and before long, the man was able to not just surf the online job postings, but he found a few places to land and had even submitted applications.

WEST FARGO — Although a planning committee struck a requirement that only owners who used their home as a primary residence could offer it as a short-term rental, the West Fargo City Commission wants the language put back. West Fargo commissioners heard the first reading of the ordinance on Monday, May 5. Two residents asked the commission not to approve it without the requirement to prevent the commercialization of residential property.

The home was given to U.S Navy Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Stuart Fuke as part of the U.S. Bank Housing Opportunities after Military Engagement program in conjunction with Freedom Alliance’s Heroes to Homeowners and West Fargo-based Thomsen Homes.

Lee F. Olsen, age 88, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2025, at Bethany Retirement Living on 42nd Street in Fargo, North Dakota with wife Edie by his side. A proud native of Green Bay, Wisconsin, he was born March 22, 1937, to Clarence J. and Lorraine Clark Olsen. In 1955, Lee graduated from Green Bay West High School where he lettered in tennis and swimming.
