MOORHEAD — Bonnie June is as sweet as her name, and has the energy level of a dog less than half her age. Volunteers for 4 Luv of Dog don’t know how this sweet nine-year-old senior managed to land in the pound without any people, but that’s where they found her, and she’s been at the shelter now for about a month. Bonnie is spayed, vaccinated, chipped, and happy to see everyone. She doesn’t do well with cats, but she loves humans, and she’s eager to show off her great leash and sit skills.

On average, experts say men often display more reluctance than women to speak up about the need for mental health care, which means they’re more unlikely to go undiagnosed. FARGO — Water you waiting for? The weather’s just right to start recreation season on the metro’s biggest waterway. River Keepers is leading group kayak excursions on the Red River starting Wednesday tonight and running through the summer. Wednesday night’s trip is for a group of 20 to tag along with their seasoned kayakers and the animal experts from the Red River Zoo. They’ll teach you all about the animals of the Red River corridor and the habitats you can spot them in.
