BISMARCK — The chancellor of the North Dakota University System will retire from that position on a tighter timeline than originally planned. Mark Hagerott announced at the State Board of Higher Education meeting on Friday, April 11, that his retirement would take effect Tuesday, April 29, a span of just more than two weeks. The board accepted his retirement with plans to meet early next week to discuss selection of an interim chancellor, an NDUS news release said.
