The Wichita Trinity Academy boys soccer team won the program’s third state championship on Saturday in a 4-3 victory over Rose Hill in the Class 4-1A final at Scheels Stryker Soccer Complex in Wichita. It only took Trinity Academy boys soccer coach Andy Hackett one training session this summer to figure out freshman Wyatt Afman was different. Afman was just 14 years old, but already hammering goals home with precision. And to think, he actually grew up playing mostly center back for his club team.
