Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has been projected to become the next prime minister (Image: PA) THREE Westminster polls in less than 24 hours have given Nigel Farage’s Reform UK a significant lead over Labour. The leads range from five points to thirteen, suggesting Reform UK are on to replace Labour in power at Westminster come the next General Election. The first poll, from Find Out Now, put Reform UK on 33% of the vote with Labour trailing on just 20%.

The Mercat Cross in Dunfermline was snapped in half, with debris left scattered across the High Street at the junction of Guildhall Street, overnight from Saturday, April 12, to Sunday, April 13.

Police Scotland said that one man had died in a plane crash in East Lothian (Image: Andrew Milligan/PA Wire) ONE man has died and another been rushed to hospital after a light aircraft crash in East Lothian. Police said that they had been called to reports of a plane crash in the East Fortune area at around 4.55pm on Thursday. Officers raced to the incident but the pilot of the aircraft was pronounced dead at the scene.
