Major depressive disorder (MDD) has persisted over an extended period. However, comprehension of MDD remains elusive, particularly concerning the disorder-relevant brain alterations and their association with symptoms. Contrastive learning techniques offer a new avenue for distilling patient-specific variability from background heterogeneity, facilitating the identification of association between functional connectivity and symptom profiles in MDD patients.
