A higher-order topological superconductor can experience topological phase transitions driven by variations in a bulk parameter without closing the bulk gap. This presents a challenge in establishing a direct bulk-boundary correspondence, as conventional bulk invariants change only upon the closure of the bulk gap.

The nuclear pore complex (NPC) comprises more than 30 nucleoporins (NUPs) and is a hallmark of eukaryotes. NUPs have been suggested to be important in regulating gene transcription and 3D genome organization. However, evidence in support of their direct roles remains limited. Here, by Cut&Run, we find that core NUPs display broad but also cell-type-specific association with active promoters and enhancers in human cells.

INTRODUCTION All plant cells are encased by a polysaccharide-rich primary cell wall that consists of cellulose, hemicellulose and pectin contained in an interlinking matrix. In contrast to hemicellulose and pectin, which are synthesized in the Golgi, cellulose is synthesized in situ at the plasma membrane by hexameric cellulose synthase complexes (CSCs).
