Ren et al. describe the development of a family of aryl amine polymers with pendent fluorocarbon side chains for organic solvent reverse osmosis. The authors synthesized fluorine containing poly(arylene amine) polymers to fabricate supported thin-film composite membranes with a thickness of 0.2 to 0.3 micrometers.

A novel wideband circularly-polarized (CP) MIMO filtering array antenna with dual-layer circular cross-slotted patch is introduced. The presented element consists of a two-way feeding structure designed with equal amplitude and 90° phase difference, and a dual-layer circular cross-slotted patch structure. An aperture-couple-driven patch is positioned between a cross-slotted patch and a dual-feed structure.

AbstractAlzheimer's disease is a debilitating neurodegenerative disorder with no cure and few treatment options. In early stages of Alzheimer's disease, impaired metabolism, and functional connectivity of the retrosplenial cortex strongly predict future cognitive impairments. Therefore, understanding Alzheimer's disease-related deficits in the retrosplenial cortex is critical for understanding the origins of cognitive impairment and identifying early treatment targets.

Unique one-pot strategy for PdH0.706 nanoparticles with enhanced stability and activity towards ethanol oxidation reaction
We present a novel and universal solvothermal method for fabricating high-hydrogen-content PdH0.706 nanoparticles, which demonstrate 1.53 A mg⁻¹ ethanol oxidation activity, 1.39 and 1.76 times higher than hydrogen-free Pd and commercial Pd black, respectively, along with superior stability and CO tolerance under alkaline conditions.
