The Florida Atlantic softball team was loose and energetic in its final practice in Boca Raton on Wednesday prior to making the long drive north to Gainesville, where it will begin its NCAA regional play on Friday against Georgia Tech. For the second straight year, the Owls were the lone non-Power Four conference team to receive an at-large bid into the tournament. It's the first time the Owls punched their ticket to the NCAA Tournament in back-to-back years since 2016 and 2017.
