5. Results of the Suitability Prediction for the Location of Elderly Facilities 5.1. Preliminary Site Selection ResultsThrough the above steps, the trained RF and GBDT algorithmic models were imported into the multi-source feature matrix to obtain their preliminary prediction results about the suitability of sites for senior facilities.

eLife assessment This important study provides an example of integrating computational and experimental approaches that lead to new insights into the energy landscape of a model kinase. Compelling use of molecular dynamics simulations and NMR spectroscopy provide a conformational description of active and excited states of the kinase; one of which has not been captured in previously solved crystal structures.

Shakespeare once said, “If food be the love of college students, they’re really bad at love,” or something like that. Shakespeare may have been a pretty wise guy, but we can’t ignore that he was a pretty big drama queen. In fact, college students are among the most creative of minds when it comes to ensuring their nutritional needs are met—our food pyramid model is reshaped into oblate spheroids, prisms, and hexagonal prisms.

AbstractAllosteric cooperativity between ATP and substrates is a prominent characteristic of the cAMP-dependent catalytic (C) subunit of protein kinase A (PKA). Not only this long-range syn-ergistic action is involved in substrate recognition and fidelity, but it is likely to regulate PKA as-sociation with regulatory subunits and other binding partners. To date, a complete understanding of the molecular determinants for this intramolecular mechanism is still lacking.
