Redshirt freshman Lexie Warncke suffered the loss, allowing three runs on two hits in one inning. Freshman Sadie Ross pitched five innings of relief, allowing one run (unearned) on four hits with one strikeout. The Bears had five hits from five different batters.

    The spring transfer portal is open for business. College football players have been eligible to jump in the portal since Wednesday, and non-graduate students have until Friday, April 25, to put their names into the portal to be eligible to play next season. Players don’t have to commit to or sign with a team during the portal window.

Senior pitcher Lillie Walker suffered her first loss in her last six games, allowing five runs (three earned) on nine hits with three strikeouts in 5.2 innings. Senior Presleigh Pilon finished 3-for-2 with a pair of extra-base hits, while senior Amber Toven had the only other hit for the Bears.
