The Waco Tribune-Herald is a daily newspaper that caters to the Waco, Texas area and its surroundings. This publication has a rich history, tracing back to five earlier newspapers, starting with the Waco Evening Telephone, which was founded in 1892. The Tribune-Herald emerged when E.S. Fentress and Charles Marsh, who were the owners of the Waco News-Tribune, acquired the Waco Times-Herald. This acquisition marked the inception of Newspapers, Inc., a company that went on to own a total of 13 different newspapers.
