24heures Montréal

24heures Montréal

24 Hours (French: 24 Heures), also written as 24heures or 24H, is a free daily newspaper published in French in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, by Quebecor Media. It was once part of a network of free publications that included a French edition in Gatineau and English editions in Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Toronto, and Vancouver. The Gatineau version was discontinued in 2008, while the Calgary, Edmonton, and Ottawa editions stopped printing in 2013. The Toronto and Vancouver editions were sold to Postmedia Network as part of Quebecor's exit from the English-language news sector. Later, on November 27, 2017, they were traded to Torstar in a deal and were promptly closed in favor of the Metro papers owned by Torstar in those cities, which were rebranded as StarMetro the following year.
