Local grocery chain PCC Community Markets recently announced that it's planning to open a small-format store — a first of its kind for the retailer — in downtown Seattle this July. The PCC Corner Market will be located at Fourth and Union and seeks to meet the needs of downtown workers and residents, a release said. The corner store will also mark the business’s return to the area after closing its original downtown location in January 2024.
