A Holy Week display was set up in the east hall of the Minnesota State Capitol on Wednesday as Christians across the state commemorate Jesus’ death and resurrection. “I highly encourage you to take advantage of visiting this display and welcome you to gather around it to pray for Minnesota!” wrote Karin Miller, a local woman who helped set up the display. Miller said that the display will be in the building until April 28.

MN Abortion Action Committee (MNAAC) recently held an event to leave fake negative reviews of local pregnancy resource centers, calling the event a “Crisis Pregnancy Center Review-a-Thon”, an email obtained by Alpha News states. “Hang out with MNAAC and help us flood crisis pregnancy center Google pages with reviews that expose them for the manipulative, anti-abortion facilities that they are,” the email reads.

A Roseville, Minn., school and church community is reeling after learning that a volunteer with a history of sexual assault allegations was able to pass a background check and gain access to children at King of Kings Lutheran Church and School. Joshua Alirio Seeman, 50, of St. Paul, was charged last week with four counts of criminal sexual conduct, including two first-degree charges, following allegations that he sexually assaulted four children between the ages of 4 and 6 at King of Kings.

Keri Heintzeman—a well-established Republican activist in the Brainerd Lakes Area and wife of state Rep. Josh Heintzeman—ran away with the win in a northern Minnesota special primary election on Tuesday. Heintzeman secured the GOP nomination for the Senate District 6 general election later this month after garnering 47% of the vote among a field of eight candidates, according to unofficial returns reported to the Minnesota Secretary of State.
