A Holy Week display was set up in the east hall of the Minnesota State Capitol on Wednesday as Christians across the state commemorate Jesus’ death and resurrection. “I highly encourage you to take advantage of visiting this display and welcome you to gather around it to pray for Minnesota!” wrote Karin Miller, a local woman who helped set up the display. Miller said that the display will be in the building until April 28.

A Roseville, Minn., school and church community is reeling after learning that a volunteer with a history of sexual assault allegations was able to pass a background check and gain access to children at King of Kings Lutheran Church and School. Joshua Alirio Seeman, 50, of St. Paul, was charged last week with four counts of criminal sexual conduct, including two first-degree charges, following allegations that he sexually assaulted four children between the ages of 4 and 6 at King of Kings.
