BBC Radio Orkney

BBC Radio Orkney is a local branch of BBC Radio Scotland that serves the Orkney Islands. Its headquarters are located on Castle Street in Kirkwall, Scotland. Throughout the year, the station offers two or three broadcasts each weekday on the BBC Radio Scotland frequency. These include the popular breakfast show, Around Orkney, a brief lunchtime news segment at 12:54 pm that covers local news and weather for both Orkney and Shetland, and the Evening Programme from Radio Orkney. From January to March, listeners can tune in for a special evening schedule featuring programs from 6 pm to 7 pm on weekdays. You can listen to BBC Radio Orkney on 93.7 FM, through their website, on BBC Sounds, or on smart speakers.
