BBC Radio Suffolk

BBC Radio Suffolk is the local radio station for Suffolk, England, which began its broadcasts on April 12, 1990. Its main studios are located at Broadcasting House on St Matthews Street in Ipswich. The station can be heard on various FM frequencies: 95.5 in Oulton (near Lowestoft), 95.9 in Aldeburgh, 103.9 in Manningtree, and 104.6 in Great Barton, located four miles northeast of Bury St Edmunds, close to the B1106 and Conyers Green. In 2004, Radio Suffolk won the prestigious Station of the Year award at the Sony Radio Academy Awards. Additionally, it is accessible in certain areas of Suffolk on DAB channel 10C and through the Sudbury and Tacolneston television transmitters, as well as on Freeview channel 720.
