Capital Gazette
The Capital is a daily publication based in Annapolis, Maryland, and has been in circulation since 1884. It is closely related to The Gazette, which is among the oldest newspapers in the United States, tracing back to the early 1700s. The Capital primarily covers news for the city of Annapolis, the majority of Anne Arundel County, and the nearby Kent Island in Queen Anne's County. After many years of being an evening paper, it transitioned to a morning release on March 9, 2015.
