Kelly Madigan, the county’s current inspector general, is among the nearly two dozen applicants for the county’s watchdog role, she told The Baltimore Sun on Wednesday. Madigan had to reapply for the position after County Executive Kathy Klausmeier launched an open hiring process for the role in mid-May, to Madigan’s surprise.
