I don't think that's correct. I think the 4 turnovers and 2 missed FGs, which have the same net effect as a turnover, did more to determine the outcome than poor line play. IN FACT, we put 400 yards of offense and 29 points on the board. How is that happening if we're being outplayed at the LOS? Defensively, they had 34 rushes (because they were ahead) for 120 yards. That's only 3.5 yards/carry. WE STUFFED THE RUN!!!! (I wanted to acknowledge that, because I know how important that is to people).

The Bears rookie QB was meh. The Lions lost. The Vikings have some weird QB stuff going on. And the Packers won! Back to the good ole days this week. Detroit LionsThe Lions succumbed to the Bucs 20-16. Tampa Bay's defense is tailor made for playing the Lions. They want to stop the run. They want to use fancy pressures to make the QB nervous. They have plenty of guys who can cover tight ends. In this game, it worked to perfection.

Bad job by me last week. Talked about multiple people making teams who would just get cut the next day. Unclear why the teams don't cut everyone at once but that's how it goes. Let's go over some highlights for each team's 53-man roster. LionsTurns out I was right about Hendon Hooker. The Lions ditched Nate Sudfeld and will be going with Hooker as the back-up QB.

A while back, before the draft, I wrotre about the worst case scenario (for Packers fans) for each NFC North team. Basically, what would have to happen for them to be as good as possible. This week, we're going to have more fun and talk about what could sink each of the inferior NFC North teams. Starting with a team that still sucks.

Last time, we ranked the NFC North's offensive position groups in response to a hoard of delusional Lions fans on Twitter. This week we'll go over the defense from the d-line up. Defensive LinePackersLionsBearsVikingsD-Line is probably the only spot where the Packers have the clear advantage in the division. Rashan Gary is always among the league leaders in pressures when healthy. Kenny Clark is a multi-time pro bowler and one of the two best pass rushing nose tackles in the league.
