    Kingston police say a person who allegedly threatened staff at a local hotel is now facing multiple charges after a whole rotisserie chicken stuffed with illicit drugs was found in their belongings. Police say they were called to the hotel on Tuesday night after someone reported that the suspect was making threats against the staff. Police say the suspect was arrested and a search of their belongings turned up fentanyl, cocaine and crystal meth - hidden inside a whole cooked chicken.

It happened March 9 around 11:05 a.m., when four people entered Bayshore Mall and headed for a jewellery store. "After reviewing the conditions of judicial release, Charlene (JenJen) Abella has been suspended without pay in accordance with the provisions of the Community Safety and Policing Act," the force said in a statement. This comes days after Peel Regional Police charged Abella with multiple offences relating to an incident that happened while she was not on duty.
