The Finger Lakes Senior Golf Association will host a two-man, 27-hole tournament at Indian Hills Golf Club on July 28. The tournament features three nine-hole segments with different formats: best ball, modified alternate shot, and scramble. Entry fee is $240 per team and includes golf, cart, steak dinner, and prizes; registration deadline is July 21. Participants must be 55 or older by Dec. 31 of the current year and are eligible for a $30 practice round the week before the event.

About 40 creative boats are expected to take part Saturday in the annual Cardboard Boat Regatta. The Watkins Glen Waterfront Festival runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. The 32nd annual Watkins Glen Waterfront Festival, anchored by the popular Cardboard Boat Regatta, will bring hundreds and hundreds of people to Seneca Harbor Park Saturday.

The most heavily impacted areas are County Routes 87 and 16, where flooding caused significant damage to roadway surfaces and drainage systems.
