Steuben County issued a non-essential travel advisory Monday night due to active flooding as more heavy rain hit the region. Excessive rainfall left multiple state, county and local roads impassable, said Steuben County Director of Public Safety Tim Marshall. Impacted roads included county roads 10, 15, 119, 76, 87, 88, and 89, along with state routes 36, 54 and 248. "First responders and highway crews are assessing damages and responding to various emergency calls," Marshall said in a release.
