West Point is more than a hometown for Valerie Hargove; it’s a way of life. “I love the small-town atmosphere,” she said. “You know your neighbors. I’ve grown up with a lot of people in this community.”Hargrove was born, raised and even got married in West Point. She lives with her husband, Jimmy, and their son, Jack, in the house her parents raised her in.
