Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience

The journal focuses on publishing theoretical and research articles related to the development of the cognitive brain, spanning from infancy to adulthood. It addresses both typical and atypical neurocognitive development and processing, including social and emotional dimensions. The journal accepts a variety of research methods, such as functional neuroimaging techniques (like fMRI and MEG), electrophysiological methods (including EEG and ERP), NIRS, and transcranial magnetic stimulation. It also welcomes contributions from fundamental neuroscience research using cellular and animal models that specifically explore cognitive brain development, as well as studies involving patients, case reports, post-mortem analyses, and pharmacological research.
