Dr. Phil

"Dr. Phil" is a popular American talk show that was created by Oprah Winfrey and features Phil McGraw as the host. After gaining recognition for his segments on "The Oprah Winfrey Show," McGraw launched "Dr. Phil" on September 16, 2002. In both programs, he shares advice based on his experiences as a clinical and forensic psychologist, presenting what he calls "life strategies." The show is broadcast in syndication across the United States and in several other countries. Additionally, CBS has aired special prime time episodes. Since 2004, the show has received nominations for a Daytime Emmy Award each year.
