WDTV is the CBS-affiliated TV station serving North-Central West Virginia, with its license based in Weston. It transmits a high-definition digital signal on VHF channel 5 from a transmitter located in a rural area between Clarksburg and Arlington. Viewers can also tune in to the station on Comcast, Suddenlink, and Time Warner Cable channel 5. For high-definition viewing, Suddenlink offers it on digital channel 782, while Comcast provides it on digital channel 905. Owned by Withers Broadcasting Companies, WDTV is affiliated with the Fox/CW station WVFX, and both stations operate from shared studios on Television Drive in Bridgeport, located along the I-79/Jennings Randolph Expressway. Additionally, WVFX has facilities situated on West Pike Street/SR 20 in Downtown Clarksburg.

State Police reported that Tony Burdette, 18, of Cedar Grove, was hit by a train while walking northbound on railroad tracks near Williams Street in Cedar Grove.     BUCKHANNON, W.Va (WDTV) - Police are asking for public assistance to locate a missing Buckhannon man this evening. George Zenon Norkus, age 82, was last seen near the 2100 block of Canaan Road in Rock Cave, West Virginia. He was wearing blue jeans, white shoes, and glasses at the time. He may be traveling in a red 2015 Ford Escape, with a West Virginia license plate (9XP337). Norkus is 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing 157 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes.

    LOST CREEK, W.Va (WDTV) - I-79 southbound is currently closed, after a single-vehicle accident near mile marker 112. 911 officials say that no patients have been transported to the hospital at this time. The Lost Creek and Jane Lew Fire Departments are on scene, along with Anmoore EMS and the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office. No word at this time on what caused the accident, though officials say that the vehicle has “heavy damage”.
