Ecology and Society
Ecology and Society, which was previously known as Conservation Ecology, is a quarterly open-access journal that focuses on various fields of study. Published by the Resilience Alliance, it explores the connections between society and the ecosystems that sustain human life. This interdisciplinary journal draws from natural sciences, social sciences, and the humanities to address topics related to environmental and societal interactions. The current editors are Carl Folke from the Stockholm Resilience Centre and Lance Gunderson from Emory University, with C. S. Holling as the founding editor.
